More hills
We kept off the main trunk rds and onto some stinker hills. The worst was fifteen pc for nrly a mile. We were popping eyes n nearly blacking out by the time granny rings had ground us to the top. So glad to c vic n thd van! Midges r evrywher yuk!
This blog tracks the progress of Cathy, Jos, Tim, Mark and Vic (and Vic's Dad in the support van) as they cycle 1,000+ miles from Lands End to John O'Groats (LeJog).
Travelling from home to Lands End by train on Friday 4th June (except Vic and Dad who took the van), the cycling began on Saturday 5th June.
All overnight stops are already pre-booked, and the team expect to arrive in John O'Groats on Monday 14th June.
By the way, Cathy's posting her articles from her phone and, for reasons not yet explained, the articles are given times that are three hours in arrears, e.g. if you see an article timed at 10am, it really means 1pm.
